​All About Me

I am 11 years old, going into Grade 6 and have always loved bugs.  One day, I will be an entomologist. ​My favourite insect is the ant, and I will spend hours just watching them work.

I like other bugs too.  In fact, in kindergarten, my teacher and friends used to call me the Fly Whisperer because flies would always play with me.  And yes, that's a picture of me!

So why am I building this Website?  I am actually working on setting-up my first Formicarium to start my first colony of ants with a Queen.  Once my Formicarium is set-up and I have added my Queen and her workers, I’ll get to see them forage, eat their food, drink their water and place their dead in the Outerworld.  I also get to feed them and care for them!

So far, I have found and am growing the colony of 5 Queen ants.  The colony that I am keeping is growing very rapidly and will soon be moving into my Formicarium.

That will leave me with 4 ants that I am selling.  I found these ants myself and take care of them by myself as well.  If you'd like to buy a colony, visit my Shop!
